Quitting: On The Wireless

It was confirmed by several publications last week that long time Metro FM jock, Glen Lewis has hang up his headphones at the SABC’s biggest commercial station. Lewis is joining the recently relaunched online radio station owned by another former Metro FM jock, T-Bo Touch. It is rumoured that Glen Lewis will co-host a show with funny woman Nina Hastie.

In other radio news, former YoTV presenter and child star, Hulisani Cece Ravele hinted that she’s making a radio comeback. This follows the stint she had at 5FM back in the day. She used to be an entertainment reporter on Euphonik’s show on Sundays. Many tried to get Hulisani to talk about where she’s heading, but the Sowetan wouldn’t say a word. It is suspected though that she might be replacing Masechaba Ndlovu who recently announced that she resigned at Power FM.

Still on quitting, former Lotus FM presenter, Neville Pillay who recently “walked out” of the SABC’s embattled Indian station has found a new home at Joburg’s number one hit station, 947. Neville has been hosting the breakfast show as the station heads closer to the line-up change that will see Anele taking over the breakfast show from April.
